Seems a Bear Attacked my Feeding Station

My sheppherd pole was bent to the ground and a feeder was smashed to pieces, the suet cake cages were snapped off the other poles and the thistle seed sack was torn to shreds. Not a happy camper right now.

I live in northern lower Michigan. Sounds like I am not the only one being invaded by bears in this area. I may have to give up birding...something I don't wanna have to do.

wow. sorry to hear about that.
we had a slight bear problem here last year too. people were getting kinda concerned with a black bear foraging for food in people yards; same thing wit the bird feeders.
the DEC (?) finally had relocate the bear to somewhere further out in the boonies.
