    Mid November - EastTennessee

Today was a cold (32 degrees) day, with light snow falling ....
So we headed up to the GreatSmoky Mountain National Park.
These photos were taken in Cades Cove - GSMNP
Great day, few people, quiet ... wonderful day to be outdoors, and best of all it was spent with my son that has just returned from a deployment in Afghanistan!

    Eastern Meadowlark

    Dark Eyed Junco

    Yellow-rumped Warbler

    Wild Turkey

    wow.  nice.

i need to spend more of this weekend keeping an eye out for birds instead of working on everything else.  everyone needs a little down time.  right?

should be intersting since we had our first serious snowfall this week.

maybe i should grab some mealworms too.
